aww so many good things are being dumped into my lap these days!! i have just recently become a sponsor of fancy pants weddings blog. this is a pretty new wedding blog focusing on northern and central california. for my blog reader slash brides to be…you MUST sign up on the RSS feed for this one. what i love about this blog is it is super personal, super up to date for the super up to date brides. theres tons of really good info that “judy” posts…and on a regular basis which is great!! theres also lots of DIY ideas, advise, planning, beauty…and lots of stuff in between!! theres a bit of humor into the writing which a personally love…i LOVE the “lets get for real!!” attitude…. check it out people…and yay for marcia and jj….love seeing your faces up here!!

emily and noe were married recently at the rancho murieta golf course. AMAZING wedding, beautiful couple! they wrote their own vows that were so personal and made me all jerky and teary……aww this couple loves each other so much!! congratulations to you both and your families!! you were all so wonderful to work with

love me some tyff and brian!! my couple were married last month at the firehouse in old sac. what a screaming awesome wedding this was! wedding party…awesome! families…awesome!! truly one of my favs this year. i simply ADORE you people!! tyff is pretty arty herself, she loves photography also and did so many of her details herself. i LOVE the non-afraid bride bringing in the punchy green everywhere….how about this retro looking flower girl….OMG soooo CUTE!!

my SO IN LOVE couple were married last month. both the ceremony and reception were held at the st lawrence church…..which happens to be the same church her parents were married. i LOVE that!! they had a HUGE guest list but i loved the simplicity of the wedding and reception. all the family and friends were more than great, accomodating and incredibly helpful. this is a couple truly meant to be together!! stacey and marc…you guys just plain RAWK!!

Y E S !! finally its almost here….i will be taking some serious R&R next week. i will be headed to the coast with my very special friend for a much deserved time out. we are grabbing some cooler weather, and pretty much doing a whole lot of nothing but just chillin at the beach….yes ill be grabbin a few pic here and there too, whats a vacation without a camera right?? i will be out of the studio starting tuesday the 13th and i will be back to return phone calls and emails on monday the 19th. if you need to be in touch for anything, holler at me by the end of the day this next monday. im working like a mad woman over the next few days to get done what i can and hopefully get a couple more blog posts going here. YAY for time-outs!!

another awesome couple and another awesome shoot. other than being super sweaty hot and those bees everywhere i think we knocked the pics outa the ballpark here. shooting downtown is BY FAR my favorite ever!! my couple get married in september and its gonna be quite a big party! we have lots of fun and extra stuff going on during the reception, cant wait! blog posts are still rolling in nicely, i should be caught up here pretty soon! hugs my beautiful peeps and ill be seeing you SOON!!

christa and lans wedding

christa and lans were married may 30th at the seasons in placerville. i havent shot a wedding there in 5 years or so and i forgot how pretty it was. theres a new garden there and some extra new goodies. very nice venue. christa nearly takes my breath away and how lans looks at her… i can tell is exactly the same way. i have had such neat and loving couples this year, so many good families, great venues, awesome parties, working with some of the best wedding vendors ever. 2010 just rocks!! i hope you had a fabulous honeymoon christa and lans…..i think the world of you both!!

liz and jeff’s wedding

hellooooo…rock stars here! what a wedding this was…..gorgeous faces everywhere! liz and jeff were married last month at the croation center, one of my fav venues where you can shoot both formal and the grungy stuff. liz gave it up BIGGER THAN LIFE for me, she happens to be a professional model so she was making things super easy and super fun! i love how they can both be fun, serious, comical, and just a nice smile at me pretty look. as soon as din was over, the party was on…the dj’s did a great job with this party. it was a pretty packed house. thanks for the yummy food guys, they always put on an awesome spread there!! congrats guys, you are truly beautiful together!!

lindsay and danny’s wedding

ok we are making some nice progress with the blog catch up here…woot woot!! lindsay and danny were married last month, my 2 of 3-fer weekend in may. my awesome couple here were married at taber ranch. beautiful venue! it was my first time out there and theres a ton of shooting area. we started out at lindsay’s friend home which is just down the road from the ranch and then headed over to the venue from there. the sky could not have been more pretty! i was hopeful for that blue sky to go along with that red caddy they have at the venue for the couples to use. thank you for such an awesome evening, and wonderful food…,michelle and i much enjoyed this wedding. hope your honeymoon was fabulous :)

christine and riz engagement session…part 1

i have had some awesome engagement sessions lately and of course the best ever clients!! my world could not be better these days!! christine and riz were such a treat to photograph. they also brought along there very handsome 2 sons for a mini family session will i will post a few here next. my couple here get married in september at the viaggio winery. this is a venue i have not shot soooooo needless to say im super excited about it!! with faces like these im sure the images will be nothing short of OMG!!
